Teacher’s orientation and training is a regular feature of the school to prepare them for their changed role as facilitators and guides. The training ensures a shift from ‘Teaching to Learning’ as per the guidelines of the national curriculum framework for schools, NCERT and the CBSE.
All teachers develop their instructional material including teaching / audio-video aids and worksheets to minimize homework mania among children.
The school provides guidance and counselling. Parents and students are able to take help of the counselor whenever needed which in turn creates a healthy and balanced school culture.
Continuous and comprehensive evaluation is done as per the guidelines of CBSE. Teachers play the role of facilitators and guides of the pupils to develop and enhance their knowledge and wisdom along with the capability of critical-thinking, decision-making and self-learning.
Academic performances and emotional well-being often go hand-in-hand. Our school Counselor works at maintaining children’s emotional health and sorting out issues they may face. She believes in love as the cure for all emotional imbalance and behavioural disorders. Children feel free to visit her and experience a sense of happiness and comfort after their session with her. Along with one-to-one interaction, the Counselor also interacts with parents seeking their support to foster academic and emotional development in children. The School Counselor also conducts specific life skill sessions for senior classes like how to cope with exam fear, how to plan study and playtime, how to face self-challenges etc. for the awareness and well-being.
The school aims at maintaining a comprehensive report of each child to help him / her understand better.
